CORONERS CASE
The B.C. Coroners Service in conjunction with the RCMP requests your
assistance to identify this male Caucasian who was discovered deceased
just prior to Christmas 1989. His body was found in a forested area on the
west side of the Fraser River, near the community of North Bend, across
the river from Boston Bar.
It is believed he arrived in the area by train.
A travel bag located at the scene contained blue jeans, neckties, personal
hygiene items, a B.C. road map and a new, unused filleting knife.
Clothing was of good quality, clean, and either new or little used. Pockets
contained a few British coins, a Canadian Pacific train ticket stub and a
wallet which contained only Canadian paper money.
It appears this person went to considerable lengths to avoid being
identified. All items of identification had been removed from the wallet and
travel bag. No sales slips or other identifying markers were located on new
items in his possession or in the bags in which they were contained.
